This Privacy Policy explains how India Business International (“IBI”, “we”) handles information when you use IBI Text to Speech Converter (the “Service”).

1. Who is responsible

2. Documents and reading data

PDF rendering, text extraction, OCR and word tracking run in your browser. Your PDF and the resulting page data are stored in your browser’s local storage or IndexedDB on your device. IBI does not receive the PDF or its extracted text through an IBI server.

You can clear this local data through your browser settings or the app’s reset option. If you uninstall the browser or clear site data, the local copy is removed.

3. Cloud voices

IBI uses the Web Speech API. Some voices are installed locally by your operating system; others are cloud voices supplied by Google, Microsoft or another provider. If you select a cloud voice, the text of the passage being read may be sent to that provider for speech synthesis, subject to the provider’s privacy policy. Choose a local voice if you require fully offline processing.

4. Account and contact information

If you contact support or purchase a paid plan, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, business details, order reference and payment confirmation. We use this information to provide support, activate and administer your licence, issue invoices and meet legal obligations.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed by Razorpay, Zoho Payments, a bank/UPI provider or another gateway shown at checkout. Those providers process card, UPI and bank details under their own privacy and security policies. IBI does not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.

6. Hosting and technical logs

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps and security signals to deliver and protect the site. IBI does not use these logs to identify the contents of your documents.

7. Cookies and local storage

IBI uses browser local storage and IndexedDB for preferences, bookmarks, reading position and cached pages. These are not advertising cookies. The Service does not currently use third-party advertising or sell personal information. If analytics are added, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.

8. How we use information

• provide and secure the Service;
• activate and administer paid plans;
• respond to support requests;
• issue invoices and maintain business records;
• comply with law and prevent fraud or abuse;
• improve the Service using aggregated, non-document information.

9. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, payments, email, support), professional advisers, or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

10. Retention

Local reading data remains on your device until you clear it. Payment and invoice records are retained as required by tax and company law. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information we hold about you. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email indiabusinessinternational@gmail.com. You may complain to the appropriate data-protection authority in India.

12. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

13. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is completely secure. Protect your device and browser profile, and avoid opening untrusted PDFs.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy. The effective date will change and material updates will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
